Some more sky-scrappers on the northern front. The green stretch of land behind the buildings is Central Park.

The famous Manhattan skyline. This is the southern tip of Manhattan and the buildings are much closer on ground than they appear here. Statue-of-liberty can also be seen on one of the small islands towards right.

Midtown-east skyline and the East river.

Empire-state building is located at 5th avenue and 33rd-34th street. The observatory at the 86th floor offers some very good views of NYC and surroundings.

AA and Zubin were in NYC last weekend. We went atop the Empire State building and clicked away to glory. Next few days, I'll be posting some of those photos. Here's the first one, as seen from Broadway and 33rd street.
